An Autumn wedding at The Byre at Inchyra
A rustic barn wedding with Natalie & Nikky at the Byre at Inchyra! One of my favourite venues. The Inchyra house is so elegant and beautiful with so much character and although I've been there several times it still feels unique in so many different ways. Then there is the stylish rustic barn where you can have the ceremony again in so many different layouts, that it never feels the same!
Natalie booked me at the very early stages and I can still remember reading her enquiry and where I was at the time! It was almost 2 years before the wedding and I often think ' wow two years is SO far away ' but it really does come by so quickly and even feels faster on the day of your wedding!
There were so many pretty details at this gem of a wedding which you can see below. A wee surprise on the day for Natalie was her shoes! Nikky got her some stunning Mischka Badgley heels as a wedding gift - what a lad! I had such a great laugh at this wedding and felt more like a guest than just a photographer. Thank you for making my job wonderful :)
Wish we could do this all over<3
Words from the couple:
"Omg what can I even say ! Words cannot describe how much we love our wedding pictures ! You are amazing Suzanne ! Thank you so so much for capturing every part of our special day!"
"Suzanne shot our wedding back in September and I honestly couldn’t imagine the day without her now. Having been to weddings before where the photographer is always ordering people about and making themselves heard. Suzanne seemed to be everywhere to capture every moment without anyone noticing! Apparently she was on ladders on the dance floor taking photos of me doing my speech which I never even noticed!! ..."

BEST OF TWO THOUSAND-SIXTEEN
WOW, how can I begin to express my feelings about my wedding adventures of 2016 ? I have a million emotions all hitting me at once whilst watching this slideshow back of all the amazing memories I've had. I've said thank you so many times, but it isn't ever enough. I really appreciate every single one of you for giving me the opportunity and trusting me to not only capture all the sweet memories but also for letting me be a part of one of the biggest days of your lives - I felt more like a friend to all of you and not ' just a photographer', so thank you from the bottom of my heart!
2016 - you have taken me around the globe to photograph so many amazing humans. Last year my passion has taken me to Paris, Hong Kong, Santorini, Rome, Verona and the Amalfi Coast. I am so grateful for that and extremely excited for whats to come this year!
Below is a slide show of all the best bits from last year. Believe me it was a hard decision to cut down from literally THOUSANDS - like 18,000 images to around 500! Hope you like it !

Romantic Paris Engagement Session
These two are my dearest friends Tania & David, they will be tying the knot tomorrow at Solsgirth House! I really can't wait to see them become husband a wife! Tania is going to look drop dead gorgeous and David will look kind of handsome too :)
When Tania asked me if I would do her engagement shoot I felt absolutely honoured to do so! When she asked if I would photograph her engagement session in PARIS, I was literally jumping up and down like a crazy fool, at first thinking that it was a joke! - " Eh of course I would ! " So two, short but wonderful, days in the not so sunny Paris, we still managed to capture such a beautiful session with these two lovebirds! ( Believe it or not, it was raining on day one! )

A Winter Wedding Proposal at Culzean Castle
On a cold winters day on 27th of December 2015 I was called out to shoot a surprise proposal for Manny and Kiran!
You can probably imagine my excitement! This was my very first proposal shoot and it went exceptionally well but I think I was more nervous than Manny himself! Manny chose the beautiful Culzean Castle near the coast of Ayrshire as the proposal spot which was just so perfect! Kiran is from Italy so she hadn't seen much of Scotland - so Manny thought it would be a great idea to say "lets to a couples shoot" which was the perfect cover up!
Now fast forward to February 13th 2016 they tied the knot in India and I'm sure they had such a wonderful wedding!
BIG CONGRATS

2015 So Far !
So where do I even begin with this post? It has been AMAZING year! I've met so many wonderful people along the way, traveled all around the UK to photograph lovely couples and achieved so many goals! Wouldn't have thought twice about featuring on these wonderful blogs Style Me Pretty, Love My Dress, Braw Brides and My Lovely Scottish Wedding. BUT I did it! No words can actually explain how overjoyed I was with all of these features (literally think I cried). I'm just so grateful for everyone for supporting me through it all. Okay I won't ramble on any more! Take a look at the awesome journey I've had!

Aswanley Wedding
Kendal & Steven
Where do I start with this wedding ?! Firstly thank you to Emma Lawson Photography for having me second shoot this wedding with her! I arrived at one of the Aswanley Cottages for groom preparations and as usual I was greeted by friendly faces. Just simply had a real good laugh with the lads! After they got ready, some lovely rose champagne was popped and a couple of swigs of rum were taken (to calm the nerves of course) then off we went to the beautiful Aswanley. As soon as I arrived I couldn't get out the car fast enough, the place was stunning! The venue was styled by ' A vintage Tea Party ' so no wonder! I get over excited by wedding decor and love capturing all those details! Enough of me telling you the whole story about how stunning Kendal looked and how much fun I had - just go ahead and check out a few of the images I took from the day! Also - I wish Kendal and Stephen a sweet, happy married life together!

China
I haven't ever shown my film work tothe world before until now ! I have too countless rolls of images taken on trips away through out so many years and haven't developed any until a couple of months back. I guess I was a little scared on how it would turn out! Will it come out blank ? That would mean £10 or so in the drain PER ROLL if it did mess up! I've had no previous lessons on film photography so that was another reason that I doubted they'd turn out any good! With some button bashing around the camera, I created these ....

The Byre at Inchyra Wedding Story
A month before August 11th I was looking to build a creative team to work with on a styled wedding shoot (list of suppliers below)! I was just bursting out with inspirations and wanted to do something different, mainly to inspire brides and grooms to be ! There are so many talented suppliers out there that many of us haven't heard of but they do such a beautiful job in completing your perfect wedding.
When the day came everything ran quite smoothly :) It was one of the BIGGEST shoots I've ever organised, so I must say that I'm pretty pleased with myself! Honestly though, I wouldn't have managed without the team behind it all and helping me make shoot a success, so a BIG MASSIVE thanks to you all!

Big shout out and thanks to the one of the best teams I've worked with

Dalduff Farm Wedding
Another lovely wedding I did as second shooter for Emma Lawson Photography! Below are some of the images from the lovely Rachel and Steven's big day that I took!
So my day started of at Steven's parent's house, as I walked in I was greeted by a bunch of friendly faces and yummy breakfast ! The boys looked relaxed and taking their time (as they always do) I had such a great laugh and lots of fun doing groom prep all the way to the dancing !

Balbirnie House Hotel Wedding
My first time in Balbirnie House Hotel and first time working with Emma Lawson Photography (do check out her work!). We also met with Andrew Burden from Erin Rose Film who did a fantastic job on the wedding trailer!
I had such a great time photographing the awesome Jason and Kirsten's big day and I do hope they're having the time of their lives as husband and wife :) These two love birds tied the knot on 27th May 2015 and below is a snippet of what went on that day!

Michelle & Callum
A pre-wedding photo shoot with the cutest couple in Kelvin Grove Park, Glasgow.
Honestly don't know where to start! I just want everyone to see for themselves how cute these two were! So here at the beginning of August, a week before their wedding, Michelle and I were exchanging texts a couple of days before their pre wedding shoot. We were planning what they could wear, where to photograph and questioning about the weather. It turned out just fine for them both :) We felt speckles of rain but it stayed dry for the couple *Thank you rain!* I shall stop right there and let you feast your eyes on these beauts!
